This fall, New Westminster Youth Services is excited to launch the Black Cultural Vibes Collective a new Drop-in program for youth to explore and celebrate their Black heritage.
Meeting Fridays from 3:15 to 5:15 pm at the təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre, the program will celebrate and promote Black culture and heritage through engaging activities centred around creative arts, news and events, music, and food. Age 13-18 welcome.

What to Expect
The Black Cultural Vibes Collective provides a dynamic and inclusive space for participants to explore identities, build confidence, and connect with peers. Through hands-on experiences, conversations and interactive sessions, youth will find a sense of belonging and pride in their cultural roots. The Drop-in aims to empower participants by helping them embrace their heritage while developing essential life skills and leadership qualities.
